Essentially Sri Lankan
We'll start off from the Colombo airport, hit up the ancient sites, make our way to the Tea Country, following the route to Southeastern corner of the island for wildlife, and finally end on glorious Southern beaches.
Day 1: Leave from the Colombo international airport, and travel to Pinnawala to see the elephant orphanage, and make our way up to Sigiriya to see this Lion Rock. Stay in Sigiriya.
Day 2: Continue to Polonnaruwa to see this ancient capital city, hit up Dambulla Cave Temple and the Hindu Temple on the way to Kandy, one of the cutest places in Sri Lanka. Stay in Kandy.
Day 3: Spend the day exploring Kandy. Visit the botanical gardens, Lankathilaka Temple, Ambekka and Gdaladeniya and watch Kandyan dance at night. Stay in Kandy.
Day 4: Leave in the morning for Adam's Peak. Stay in Adam's Peak.
Day 5: Wake up early morning to treck up Adam's Peak to reach to the Buddhist Temple at top to catch the sunrise. Continue Nuwara Eliya. Stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6: Leave from Nuwara Eliya to Yala, stopping on the way at Gregory Lake and Hakgala Gardens. Stay in Yala.
Day 7: Explore the wildlife at Yala National Park on a jeep! Stay in Yala.
Day 8: Leave in the morning from Yala to Weligama to spend the day on the beach. Stay in Weligama.
Day 9: Relax under the Southern Sri Lankan sun and enjoy the sea.
Day 10: Leave Weligama for Colombo airport.
